Solokey Terms of Use (EULA)
1. Acceptance
By using Solokey you agree to these Terms and to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Not an emergency service
Solokey is a peace-of-mind check-in tool. It is NOT a medical device, emergency dispatch, alarm, or first-responder service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services directly. Solokey makes no guarantee that any contact will respond or act.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your check-in schedule realistic, keeping your emergency contacts accurate and informed that they are listed, and maintaining device access and notifications so reminders can reach you.
4. Subscriptions
Solokey Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown at checkout.
5. Encryption and content
You are responsible for the content you store in your encrypted vault. Because vault items are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot recover them if you lose access to your device and key. Do not store anything unlawful.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Solokey, attempt to access other users’ data, reverse-engineer the service, or use it to harass others. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Disclaimer and liability
Solokey is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any failure of a contact to respond or of a notification to be delivered.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. For questions, contact us at support@solokey.app.
